Writer’s Blocks

When every word I write

feels forced and inauthentic

as a last resort

and my final retort:

I refuse to post a tepid piece

and pretend I meant it

I’m gonna go play with
my writer’s blocks!

  1. Great stuff. I must get a set. Actually, this is a great piece of advice you’ve given us – writers need to go play. It’s too easy to take ourselves too seriously, and it’s in play where the good stuff happens. And even if it doesn’t, at least you’re having fun πŸ™‚
